A Lucky Miracle is the first story of the Wayward Family Series, and introduces the reader to the new changes added to the story thanks to recovery of the derelict Factory Ship Hephaestus. Like all of the stories in the Wayward Family Series it is written by William R. Woods aka Deathzealot/Deathzealotzero.
The real Macross stuff in the story is the Factory Ship and what she is carrying, so far nothing beside that is going to be introduce in this story.
Summary[]
When Racetrack's Raptor misjumps during the Caprica Rescue Operation, she finds something that will change everything. This find is the New United Nations built Vulcan Class Long Range Factory Ship Hepaestus which is recovered and repair of the Colonial Fleet. Using this ship the Colonial Fleet starts rebuilding its society and getting back onto its feet once more. Thanks to this find the Second Cylon War has been changed drastically and no longer does the Colonials run but stands and fights.
