The Cerberus Class/Rhiannon Subclass Battlestar are Block III (D8) or Block II, Mercury Class Battlestar.
Design Overview[]
The Block II Mercury, had several improvements over the Block I. It carry double the air wings, larger missile launch tubes and eight more railguns. Bring the air wings up to 360 Viper and 100 Raptor along with the dropship and shuttle.
In the Leonidas's Universe, the Cerberus/Rhiannon are Block III, Mercury. Improve in this class are the larger missile launch tubes and double the air wings. Bring the air wings up to 360 Viper and 100 Raptor along with the dropship and shuttle.
Like the Block I and Block II, the air wings include two reserve Viper Squadron. However it also include ten reserve Raptors

In Dimension Eight, the Fenris Class Battlestar was approve before the Block III and because of that several of the name are used for both classes, i.e Columbia, Pacifica, and Rycon. However because of delay in funding for the Fenris and development the Block III was completed before any of the Fenris Class was started. However Adar cancel the remain Block III in favor for the Fenris Class Battlestar. Rumors are that all five Block III would be decommissioned because their is no need for them. The larger Nova and Titan Class Battlestar take of the heavy Battlestar roles, and the smaller Fenris and Valkyrie cost less to operated than does the Block III. However at the time of the fall no decision had been make about the future of the Block III already in service. With a new Columbia under construction, it was unknown what would happen to the Block III Columbia.
